Today Arvati village has about 150 inhabitants- 55% Albanians and 45% Macedonians. They grow vegetables and grapes, keep cattle and bees. But they mostly grow various kinds of fruits. The most famous sort they grow is the Resen apple, but they grow other sorts as well such as red Prespan delicious, golden delicious, Prespan jonagold, and others. Due to the excellent quality of the apples there are more and more customers each year.

One of the families that was mentioned in the fifteenth century is the family of the Buzaks, the Buzakovski family. The man that will be remembered in the village for centuries is famous RISTO (GULEV) KOTEVSKI (1872-1962), the grandson of Koteta Buzakovskog, and the son of Gule Buzakovski. Risto Kotevski was the first and the last serf at the Arvati village. Risto was incredibly energetic, wise, brave and the guardian of the little village. Together with his comrades Penčo and others he organized a rebellion against the Turks in 1903 and he started actively fighting against the Turks for liberation of Macedonia. He was wounded a number of times and after the victory he was the first to raise the flag of Macedonia in his small village Arvati. He gave the flag as a gift to the Macedonian national museum in 1957 and it can still be found there.

Risto Kotevski has many descendants that are spread throughout the world. One of the most respecteable ones is the Risto's grandson Mihajlo Gulevski (1941-2006) who settled down in Novi Sad (Serbia). Mihajlo welcomed, took care of and helped each of the inhabitants of the Arvati village who came to Novi Sad in Serbia. Today the inhabitants of Arvati village tell only nice stories about Mihajlo Gulevski, the man who will be remebered for his kindness. He had two children with his wife Nedeljka- Dimče and Saša who live with their families in Novi Sad. Mihajlo passed his kindness and love for his home onto his descendants so his sons, Dimče and Saša, even though they were not born in Macedonia keep going there and keep visiting the Arvati village. This site was created by Dimče Gulevski, the descendant of Risto Gulev. Dimče was born in Novi Sad in 1964. With his wife Dragana he has three children- Neda, Mihajlo and Ivan. Searching for his dream, Dimče built a perfect place for rest and enjoyment- Salaš 84, on the corridor 10, in Novi Sad. Saša Gulevski has two children- Aleksandra and Elena.
